Our story
Willow's Apothecary was born from a deep love of the natural world and a belief that plants hold profound wisdom for healing body, mind, and spirit.
How It All Began
I grew up watching my grandmother tend her garden — chamomile along the fence, elderberry by the gate, calendula spilling over every path. She knew each plant by name and by purpose. That early education planted a seed that took decades to fully bloom.
After years of formal study in Five Element Acupuncture and I Ching, and countless hours learning from plants directly, I founded Willow's Apothecary as a way to share what the plants had taught me. Every product, every guide, every course is rooted in that same reverence.
We're a small, intentional operation based in Thomasville, Georgia. We source our herbs with care, formulate in small batches, and believe that real healing is slow, seasonal, and deeply personal.
We let the plants lead. Every formula starts with deep respect for the herb itself — its history, its energetics, its relationship to the body.
We make things in small batches, by hand, with attention. Quality over quantity, always.
Our work draws from Western herbalism, Eight Element theory, and the I Ching — time-tested frameworks for understanding the body and the natural world.
We source certified organic or ethically wildcrafted herbs, and we're transparent about where everything comes from.
Meet the herbalist
Certified Associate Practitioner — Five Element Acupuncture & I Ching
I'm a clinical herbalist, Eight Element practitioner, and lifelong student of the natural world. My training spans Western herbalism, Traditional Chinese Medicine theory, and the I Ching — a practice I've woven into both my personal life and my work with clients.
When I'm not in the apothecary blending teas or formulating tinctures, you'll find me in the garden, on a trail, or deep in a book about plant medicine. I believe that learning to work with plants is one of the most grounding, empowering things a person can do.
"The plants are always teaching. Our job is to slow down enough to listen."
